About Shrikhand Mahadev Trek
Shrikhand Mahadev, also known as Shikhar Kailash, is a revered pilgrimage site in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. It is considered one of the most challenging treks in India, attracting devotees and adventure seekers alike. The trek offers breathtaking landscapes, glaciers, and the iconic 75-feet-tall Shivalingam at the summit.

Day-wise Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Fancha Village (Base Camp) – Homestay
Fancha, nestled in nature’s lap, is a picturesque village in Rampur Bushahr. It has historical significance as British rulers frequently visited and built a rest house here in 1915, now managed by the Forest Department. The Devta Jakh Ji Temple, known for its exquisite wooden carvings, adds to the cultural charm. Overnight stay in a homestay.
Day 2: Trek from Fancha to Spa Bhawi (7 km)
The adventure begins with an uphill trek of 7 km to Spa Bhawi, a stunning high-altitude location. The journey is filled with breathtaking landscapes, making it an unforgettable experience. Overnight stay in tents.
Day 3: Trek from Spa Bhawi to Maujbaun (8 km)
Shrikhand Mahadev Trekking
A challenging 8 km trek through beautiful landscapes will take you to Maujbaun, known for its serene meadows and breathtaking glacier views. This place is also a shelter for shepherds. Overnight stay in tents.
Day 4: Trek from Maujbaun to Shrikhand Mahadev & Back (6 km total)
This is the most awaited day of the trek! The journey to Shrikhand Mahadev peak offers mesmerizing views of snow-capped mountains and diverse flora. After seeking the blessings of Lord Shiva, we trek back to Maujbaun for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Descend from Maujbaun to Spa Bhawi
After experiencing the divine energy of Shrikhand Mahadev, we descend back to Spa Bhawi and enjoy a peaceful night under the stars in tents.
Day 6: Trek Back to Fancha Village – Homestay
On the final day, we head back to Fancha village and rest in a homestay before departing.
